Nothing good comes after this sentence, right? While most people are aware that overt racism is a bad thing, sometimes that’s not quite good enough. Habtus’ I’m Not Racist, But… workshop empowers teams to move beyond passive acceptance to create a truly inclusive workplace culture that challenges racial inequities.
Individuals will learn to tackle complex topics and challenge systems that perpetuate and uphold racial inequities, working towards creating a psychologically safe workplace where everyone feels valued. The goal of our workshop is to have a conversation about race without the excessive fear of being labelled racist, biased or bigoted. By fostering this open dialogue and celebrating diversity in the workplace, participants can engage in meaningful discussions on race, better understand microaggressions, and explore the root of systemic racism, all whilst avoiding blaming, discounting or invalidating the experiences and feelings of others.
